The Jackson Business & Community Association (JBCA) is dedicated to promoting the interests of Jackson’s unique economy.
JBCA strives to maintain a healthy economic and cultural environment in our small foothill town by promoting a cohesive bond between the various businesses throughout the whole of Jackson with a positive sense of community while respecting and embracing the diversity of each individual business. We are dedicated to the development of a strong collaborative relationship among the business community, residential community, local government, and the people we serve.
Main Street Theatre Works (MSTW) is pleased to present Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson.
Playwright Christopher Durang takes themes and characters from Chekhov plays and puts them in a comic blender. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike runs every Friday and Saturday night, August 7th – September 5th. Doors open at 6:30 for picnics; show starts at 8:00pm. Patrons are encouraged to come early with their picnic dinners, chairs and jackets. The Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre is located at 1127 North Main Street in Jackson.
The Kit Carson Mountain Men Wagon Train and Days of 49 Celebration, Sept. 17 – 20, 2015, brings Gold Rush history alive in charming, historic Amador County. An authentic wagon train of 15 horse-drawn covered wagons will pull into Jackson, CA on Saturday, Sept. 19 after a three-day journey from Cooper Vineyards in the Shenandoah Valley, through Plymouth, Drytown, Amador City and Sutter Creek, to celebrate Amador County’s pioneer heritage.
Antique Musical Organ Rally -- Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 26 – 27 2015. Experience the music of yesteryear!
