Downtown Jackson becomes an outdoor bazaar and flea market featuring antiques, relics and collectibles, arts and crafts, food, street entertainers and a 5K run.

--  Bunsen to Beakers 5K, Saturday morning, 8 am start

--  Carnival rides for kids at corner of Water and Summit Streets

-- Live music at Petkovich Park and at the Beer and Wine Garden (next to National Hotel), 10 am – 7 pm Saturday, 10 am - 5pm Sunday. Beer and Wine Garden sponsored by Jackson Rancheria and the National Hotel.

--  All food booths operated by local non-profit groups

-- Free Shuttle Bus service to free parking at the corner of So. Hwy 49 and Broadway and the County Administration building on Court Street – click here for bus schedule

-- Paid parking (including overnight for campers) in the Grocery Outlet parking lot, on Hwy 49 …. No overnight parking for campers.

Main Street Theatre Works (MSTW) is pleased to present Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike at the Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre in Jackson.

Playwright Christopher Durang takes themes and characters from Chekhov plays and puts them in a comic blender. Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike runs every Friday and Saturday night, August 7th – September 5th. Doors open at 6:30 for picnics; show starts at 8:00pm. Patrons are encouraged to come early with their picnic dinners, chairs and jackets. The Kennedy Mine Amphitheatre is located at 1127 North Main Street in Jackson.

Antique Musical Organ Rally -- Saturday & Sunday, Sept. 24 – 25 2016. Experience the music of yesteryear! Unusual musical organs from all over the country and their colorful owners, performing on Main Street, Saturday and Sunday. Free indoor concert at Jackson United Methodist Church on Sunday. A one-of-a-kind opportunity for the whole family! Free, on Main Street, Jackson.
