Delight in the charm of Jackson’s old-fashioned Christmas Delights Thanksgiving weekend! On Friday and Saturday, Nov. 29 – 30, 6 – 9 pm, historic Main Street, Jackson, comes alive with music, street entertainers, activities for kids … all free family fun:

  • Free horse-drawn carriage rides
  • Meghan O’Keefe’s Elfin’ Christmas Music
  • Magic Man Cody Ebert
  • Izzy Tooinsky, the Wild Man
  • Kids Craft Corner and Face Painting
  • Mrs. Claus reads holiday stories to little ones at Hein & Co.
  • Strolling characters for photos
  • Shops for unique gifts until 9 pm

Start off your holiday season with a treasured downtown Jackson tradition. The whole family will enjoy the cheerful holiday atmosphere as Jackson’s downtown merchants pull out all the stops to make this year’s Christmas Delights something special!

Santa Claus lights Jackson’s Christmas Tree at the Firehouse at 6 pm Friday and Saturday after Thanksgiving, then heads to The National Hotel for wish lists and free photos, courtesy of The National Hotel.

 

Jackson’s historic Main Street will be closed to cars but open for free horse-drawn carriage rides at the Christmas Delights Open House, 6 – 9 pm, Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.

 

 

Costumed characters, music, fire dancers and more will entertain on Jackson’s Main Street at the old-fashioned Christmas Delights Open House, 6 – 9 pm, Friday and Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend.
